Organised by Business Image Publishing, the conference has a twenty-year history and drew 240 decision-makers from almost 140 companies at its previous edition. This year’s event is expected to be larger still – over 300 participants across more than 1,000 m² of conference space.
The programme includes full-day workshops on the PPWR regulation and three industry debates – among them MDO technology in CAST film production and the competitiveness of plastic packaging in Poland and Europe.
What interests us most:
• The PPWR in practice – how the new requirements will translate into material decisions for our customers.
• Paper versus film – where switching makes technological and economic sense, and where it is merely a gesture.
• Mono-materiality and recyclability – the direction packaging design is heading.
• Conversations on the sidelines – with converters, raw material suppliers and recyclers.
We manufacture both siliconised papers and films, so we have no interest in pushing one solution at the expense of the other – we recommend what will actually work in a given application.
